Shigin by Junko Ishihara: “Kawanakajima” (Rai Sanyō) and “Fūrin Kazan” (Sun Tzu)

Shigin Videos

Singer Junko Ishihara performs shigin, chanting “Kawanakajima” and “Fūrin Kazan,” with the folk anthem “Takeda-bushi” inserted between the two.

By the way, the line “疾如風、徐如林、侵掠如火、不動如山” — “swift as the wind, silent as the forest, fierce as fire, immovable as a mountain” — comes from the “Military Maneuvers” chapter of Sun Tzu’s The Art of War. However, the nickname “Fūrin Kazan” itself does not appear to have been used in Takeda Shingen’s time. (Source: Wikipedia)
